In 1013 it relied on Denia, which was stated independent Kingdom of Taifa in this year, and also in 1535 it came to be a rectory of Moriscos. In 1643, with just around 35 next-door neighbors, it passed to the territory of Denia. In the mid-nineteenth century there were 520 occupants and the community had a consistorial residence, two small squares, a tavern, a supermarket, an institution of initial letters and also a church. People worked in the areas, expanding wheat, barley, corn, carob, raisins, figs, almonds and various other fruits as well as producing wine as well as oil.

In the early the twentieth century experienced a market crisis with an emigration to France as well as Algeria, but in the 50s criteria came from La Mancha and also Andalusia, among others, to work in the fields. Recently the town has actually expanded a whole lot and also now has concerning 1,900 residents.

Places of passion
Beniarbeig has different places of passion, such as the Parochial Church, its narrow roads of the old town, the imposing Sierra de Segària with the Cova de Bolumini, l'Avenc de Tavernero or its marked paths to cross it, and also without ignoring the Girona River and also its modern-day bridge, gone across by the Meridian of Greenwich.
